About Us
The band was formed in 1957, originally as the Pipes & Drums, 1st Divisional Signals Regiment of the New Zealand Army.

We are a traditional Scottish Highland Pipe Band, with an emphasis on street marches, parades, and entertainment. The band is also the official Pipes & Drums of the New Zealand Signals Association.
We are also one of the only pipe bands in New Zealand that can parade in the full traditional highland military uniform.
The band has a heritage formed originally by the Royal New Zealand Signals Corps.
We play at Returned Services Associations, Christmas Parades, Tattoos, Robbie Burns nights, ANZAC Day and almost any special event that you can think of! Need a piper or the whole band for your wedding? Book us today.
Where to find us
We practice at the Auckland Old Folks Association every Wednesday at 7pm. Visitors welcome.
